Amkeni Wakenya Call 5 & Call 6 Application Outcomes

An administrative check committee for Call 6 was convened on 10th November 2020 to generate the Shortlist of Grant Applicants for the GAC review.

To determine compliance in the administrative check, the selection process was mainly based on the concept note template checklist, that was meant to guide the grant applicants in conducting self-assessments and ensuring application compliance before submissions were made.

This criteria applied for both Call 6 under the PLEAD project titled. “Short-Term Grants on Promoting Access to Legal Aid and Assistance for the Poor and Marginalized Special Interest Groups in Kenya” , and Call 5 applicants under the Japanese Supplementary Budget (JSB) titled “Supporting an Inclusive and Multi-Sectoral Response to COVID-19 and Addressing its Socio-Economic Impact in Kenya”

Please note that the following applicants were unsuccessful as they did not meet the above criteria.
